On 13 March, H.E. Ambassador Ma Qiang attended the handover ceremony of office equipment and motorcycles donated by the Chinese Embassy in South Sudan to the SPLM National Youth League. Cde. Puok Bol Par, the Chairperson of the SPLM National Youth League, and more than ten members of its leadership joined in the event.

Ambassador Ma congratulated Cde. Puok Bol Par on his assumption of office, and stated that this year is crucial for South Sudan’s peace process. China is willing to continue providing support to the SPLM National Youth League within its capacity, hoping that more and more South Sudanese youth will engage in the cause of China-South Sudan friendship and contribute to building a community with a shared future for humanity.

Cde. Puok Bol Par expressed his gratitude for China’s long-term assistance to the SPLM National Youth League, highlighting the profound traditional friendship and close exchanges and cooperation between the two countries and two parties. He expressed the desire to further strengthen the friendly relations between the SPLM and the Communist Party of China, and enhance exchanges and mutual understanding between the youth of the two countries.

Ambassador Ma, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy, donated the fifth volume of “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China” and other books to the SPLM National Youth League’s library, and received an interview by the state-owned SSBC.
